My Big Fat Redneck Wedding?

So you’re planning a fall wedding, you are thinking it will be beautiful with the fall leaves and warm rich colors.  But, maybe you are worried about having it outside, will everyone think that is too redneck?  You don’t want to be creating an episode of My Big Fat Redneck Wedding right?

Don’t worry, you can still have a fall themed wedding and make it classy and beautiful. Just be sure to find ways to add a touch of class instead of a touch of “red”.

Find the perfect location. You want something that screams beauty, not barnyard, or hunting lodge or anything along those lines.  Find an outdoor gazebo, a garden area or something similar instead.  Being careful of your location can be the difference between classy and redneck.

Choose your colors wisely. Stay away from anything resembling camo and stick to warm rich colors, including rich reds, brilliant oranges, warm creams and or deep browns.  Be sure to check with your bridesmaids as well because not just everyone can wear this color pallet well.

Be sure to pick the perfect time. Fall is not the same everywhere, consider your location, when the leaves will be turning and when it will get cooler.  Especially when considering an “outdoor” location you want to be sure you’re not tromping through too many piles of leaves or shivering because of the too cool fall air.

Don’t panic you can still have a fall wedding and not be considered an episode of My Big Fat Redneck Wedding.
