Another cost saving strategy to remember as you choose your wedding cake is that some bakeries are more expensive than others.  Shops that specialize in wedding cakes tend to charge a higher rate than bakeries that make cakes on the side.  Shop around looking for a great quote.  Remember that you can look through the wedding albums that bakeries normally have to get a good idea of the bakery’s skill and specialties.
