So, he popped the question and you said, “Yes!” Now it’s time to plan your big day.  Whether you have been dreaming of this day since you were a little girl and you already have the details in mind or you never thought this day would come and your a little worried about all the details either way there is a great deal of work to be done.

How do you decide what to do? Do you “go it alone”, “let your mom help you plan”, “recruit all your best gal friends”, or hire that “expensive wedding planner” that all the girls drool over.  Think about it, this is your big day.  It’s truly all about you and the love of your life.  Sit back for a moment, think about what’s really important and then move forward.

Take the time to weigh the pros and cons of your decision.  Take the time to determine which aspects of your wedding are most important to you.  Then, you can logically and most happily move forward.

You can do it alone.  The choice is whether or not you want to.  There are other options.

I know your mom can get on your nerves, but she is also someone who knows you best so you might want to consider having her as your right hand gal when it comes to wedding planning.  Together you could grab a wedding organizer and get to work.

Or, you may choose to rally your friends and have them take part, just remember the more heads the more opinions there are on the table.

Then, there is the option of done for you!  This works best if you’re busy, you are less worried about all the details and you just want to hurry up and enjoy your big day.  This is when hiring a wedding planner, whether expensive or not is a good choice.
