Wedding Announcements

Wedding announcements are sent out after a small family wedding, an elopement, or to let those who were not on the guest list.

• They should not be mailed to anyone who received an invitation.
• Those who receive an announcement are not obligated to send a gift.
• The style, paper, and addressing should match the wedding invitations. They may be ordered at the same time.
• They should include the date, year, and city where the marriage took place.
• If desired, name cards or at home cards may be inserted in the announcement or the invitation.
• The announcements should be mailed immediately after the wedding.
