Groom's parent deceased

When one of the groom's parents is deceased, the bride's parents may issue the announcement in the normal manner, with the addition of a reference to the groom's deceased parent. The following example shows how this announcement can be worded:

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Kuznik
announce the engagement
of their daughter
Miss Linda Kuznik
to
Mr. Garrett Johnson
son of Mr. Randall Johnson
