Informal Invitations

Informal wedding invitations give the opportunity to be creative.

• The text of the wedding invitation can still follow the guidellines established for traditional wording.
• A more personal message may be used instead of the formal third-person wording.
• Titles are not necessary.
• The u in favour and honour may be omitted.
• The style and color of invitations and ink can coordinate with the wedding theme.
• Personal handwritten notes may also be used for a small wedding.
• It is nice to address the envelopes with the same color of ink that is used for the text of the invitation.
